The Future of St. Louis Starts At Home Panel Discussion

Housing is a basic need - yet the truth is many Americans do not have access to affordable housing. This has been a problem in our country for quite some time; and the COVID-19 pandemic has only made the problem much worse. In fact, we have a public health crisis on our hands as millions are at risk of being evicted from their homes very soon. Lack of safe affordable housing affects Black and other people of color more than any other group, thanks to historically discriminatory practices. There ARE solutions out there! This event will feature a panel of four experts offering a unique perspective on housing issues in our community, how they impact youth, and what we, as concerned citizens, can do about it. We will also hear from Congressman Clay on his work to advocate for federal funding around housing issues in St. Louis.
