Other Ways to Support
Woman's Exchange of St. Louis

We were founded in 1883 by women and continue to be run by women today.  We support over 60 artisans, 43 of those who live in the St. Louis region, who make and design garments that are sold in our store.

We started an immigrant and refugee training program in 2003 to provide both professional and personal development skills training to those who found it difficult to maintain other employment; we have since broadened our training program to encompass other financially vulnerable individuals.  All of the profits from our store go directly to supporting these artisans.
